Read Between The Sheets

Sometimes when I'm up all alone in the middle of the night I will get to a certain part of a story and want to vent about whatever is going on.  Since I am the only one awake in my house,  this is my caffeine induced rant.

 

The Great Gatsby

1am and I am about ready to poke my eyeballs out.  I really want to get into this book but hell I have no idea why some of these characters were even introduced.  Is Jordan needed? Her relationship with Nick never really comes together and why the heck do I need to know about Myrlte's a sister? Oh well feathered headbands and classic cocktails on book club night will make reading this well worth it. 

 

9/30/13- Is it just me or does a main character sound a lot hotter in your head with an Italian accent? I'm just saying....

 

10/6/13 9:53PM- Is anyone else tired of the word "craning" in every book? Can we find another way to say that someone tilted their neck or looked left to right.  Every book over and over "craning".... It's just silly

 

09/20/14- Bing reading is my downfall.  Once I start a book I will read and funtion on just a few hours of sleep until I'm done.  I can't help it...Then I'm sad the book ended too fast. LOL #dobleedgesword
