Read Between The Sheets

Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk by David Sedaris:

 

A collection of short stories by David Sedaris, Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk is a light hearted look at everyday situations told from some very unique perspectives.  

 

I wasn't really sure what to expect since this was my first time reading anything from David Sedaris, but I was pleasantly surprised by the humor and relatable qualities in this book.  One of the first stories is about a Baboon grooming a Cat as though they were old friends in a beauty shop.  I was tickled by their diakigue which reminded me of some memorable girl talks, and even more so by the fact that the author was using animals for this witty banter.  

 

This book is a short easy read and definitely something that will make you giggle a bit throughout your day.
